Michael Cohen, DDS, MSD  

Dr. Michael Cohen received his DDS from McGill University in Montreal and his MS and Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Washington.

The Seattle Study Club is the ‘brain-child’ of Dr. Cohen. An advanced educational organization, SSC consists of clinicians dedicated to raising the level at which their profession is practiced. This university without walls has approximately 250 chapters with over 7000 members in the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, Taiwan, and England. Each club provides clinical treatment planning sessions designed to increase total case management, problem solving sessions, a network of specialists, and dedicated comprehensive treatment planning. National lecturers are showcased in small group settings, allowing intimate sharing of state of the art treatment for the patient.

Dr. Cohen has authored numerous articles on continuing education, and is the editor of Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning: Principles, Design, Implementation (Quintessence, 2007). He is currently a visiting assistant clinical professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Washington, and he has lectured nationally and internationally regarding comprehensive treatment planning over the past 25 years. Dr. Cohen maintains a private practice limited to periodontics and implants in the Seattle area.
